You can also discover its many landscapes through beautiful walks in the forests, in the marshes and on the beaches. Finally, the Vendée is also attractive for its activity parks for the whole family: tree climbing, water park, paintball, shows. Spend a day at the Grand Défi at Indian Forest, O’gliss Park or even Puy du Fou. These entertainment parks are 1 hour or less from Camping Les Dunes.

Where to surf in Vendée?
The Vendée has some good, well-known surfing spots. Among them, the Dunes beach! An ideal surf spot for surfing at all levels. It allows you to learn to surf safely thanks to its long swell and cleanly rolling waves. It also allows for more committed surfing for experienced surfers who row further offshore or when the swell is high! Located between Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and Les Sables d’Olonne, this spot is still accessible in summer when certain peaks are saturated with people!

Sailing lessons during your vacation in Vendée
Located in Brétignolles sur mer, the Normandelière sailing school is located approximately 2 km from the campsite, it can be accessed via Normandelière beach and also via the cycle path leaving from the campsite.Possible activities at sea. The Grand Défi activity park
15 km from Camping les Dunes, discover the site of the Grand Défi in Saint Julien des Landes. This natural site, in the heart of a forest of century-old oaks, offers tree climbing courses for the whole family and at all levels (accessible from 2 years old). You will also enjoy the zip lines over the ponds, included in the courses.
Discover Sylvain’s World including educational and fun orientation courses, an FBI-themed paintball field and a new treetop course.
Also on the site, enjoy the largest paintball in Vendée, Galactic Laser, 18-hole Disc Golf, pony rides and orienteering courses.

Discover the joy of walks in the Vendée marshes
Near Givrand, about 10 km from Camping les Dunes, Fabien will allow you to discover the rich biodiversity of the Jaunay river. From the pier, reach the town center of Saint Gilles Croix de vie in an original and exotic way, in a calm and relaxing setting. Walks possible during the day and at night.

Explore the salt marshes around Les Sables d’Olonne, 15 km from the campsite. During this two-hour walk in the heart of the Olonne marshes, you will see the birds that inhabit the marshes and meet the salt workers in their salt farms.

Discover Brétignolles-sur-Mer by bike: the Parée loop
Vendée has one of the largest networks of French departmental cycle circuits. During your stay in Brétignolles-sur-Mer, take the opportunity to enjoy part of the 1,100 km of rides planned for courageous cyclists!
In the surroundings of Camping Les Dunes, the Boucle de la Parée is available to you. It alternates between tarmac path for 3.2km and sandy road for 5.5km. It is accessible for novices and allows you to discover the Vendée coast as well as the land. These are 8.7km of pure joy to discover with enthusiastic pedals.

Every Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Place de la Parée in Brétignolles-sur-Mer is taken over by artisans and art creators for a night market.
